"This CD was released at a show featuring Evanescence, Living Sacrifice, Squad 5-0 and two bands that really sucked on November 4, 2000 at the Little Rock River Market Pavillion. It was really cold, but worth it to finally get a non-CDR release from the band, not to mention posters!
Originally this CD had another track called "Listen to the Rain" which featured a choir of some sort. Unfortunately it got cut from the final release." Source: [exodus] Evanescence

This CD was originally a limited release but it has now been re-released and there is a lot of fakes going around. You'd expect to be paying easily in excess of £100, if you were to find an orginal.

Lineup:
Evanescence is Amy Lee, Ben Moody, David Hodges

Guests:
William Boyd - bass in "Away From Me"
Bruce Fitzhugh - vocals in "Lies"
Stephanie Pierce - vocals in "Lies"
Suvi Petrajajvri, Sara Moore, Catherine Harris and Samantha Strong - female vocal ensemble in "Field Of Innocence"

Tracklist:

1 - Origin: Basically a short introduction to the CD. It includes a few very chilling lines. Very good build up to the rest of this great album.

2 - Whisper: This song was later remixed again to put onto the band's other album 'Fallen'. Very powerful rock genre song. Great guitar work and vocals blended perfectly to produce one brilliant song.

3 - Imaginary: Almost seems like the orginal that 'Bring Me To Life' was remixed from at first, but is a slightly more mellow song with a creepy touch with haunting singing and varying chilling music styles. This is a truly painful song and seems to be a song written from experience by the way the words are chosen.

4 - My Immortal: This song later featured on the band's album 'Fallen' and it fits in the mellow category as it focuses mainly on Amy's vocals and piano work. It is quite a tear-jerking song, bringing out emotions.

5 - Where Will You Go: If I had to pick a song as my least favorite song on the CD, this would have to be it. Its not as strong as the others. But that's my opinion. You'd have to listen to it yourself to see what I mean. Still a good blend of guitars, piano and vocals but just wasn't "my cup of tea" ;).

6 - Field Of Innocence: Wonderful, chilling mellow song... the music is beautiful, the lyrics are simple but touching... and the Latin Hymn only makes the song more masterfully balanced. Easily one of the best songs on the CD.

7 - Even In Death: This song is a combination of a love song mixed with sadness of someone's death. I love this song. I don't know why, I just do. The lyrics are so sad and sweet... and I love the line, "Even in death, our love goes on." Someone write that on my tombstone for me.

8 - Anywhere: Oooh, The sweetest song I've ever heard by ANY band. Amy's voice on this song is so powerful and she shows off her awesome range in it. Not to mention this song always gets stuck in my head, but it's one of those rare good stuck-in-head songs that don't get annoying when sung repeatedly.

9 - Lies: This one is so cool and dark. The sound is different from their other stuff, lots of screaming by I don't know who.. a guy. I haven't got a clue whether it's Ben or not, but Amy's singing is interlaced with the guy's heavy demonic-sounding screaming... it's great.

10 - Away From Me: I love this song for it's lyrics. Amy's voice is once again very powerful and moving, and it's another all around great song that I never tire of...

11 - Eternal: Definitely the best song on this entire CD. No singing, just the piano... and the coolest thunderstorm sound effects ever. Maybe you have to adore storms like I do to really appreciate this one, but the piano playing softly with the rain pounding down in the background... :D, it's absolutely brilliant and I always get really.. sleepily content when I listen to this one. Best instrumental song on the planet.
